Unilime Foundation is a non-governmental, not-for-profit Organisation with objectives to produce competent individuals in all fields of endeavors, unearthing talents and helping the underprivileged in the society to cope with life independently.
The project dubbed: “VOCTECH” aims at training the youth in deprived communities in the country.
The Pilot of the project targeted youth in a community called Shiabu, in the Ablekuma West Constituency in 2017. This project helped, and continue to support the youth to acquire vocational, technological and technical skills to enable them pursue their dreams and improve their living standards as individuals as well as the society. In Shiabu, VOCTECH empowered twelve less privileged individuals in Information Technology (IT) where two of them specialized in graphic design. Others focused on dress making and are independent now.
As part of expanding this project, UNILIME Foundation is launching the next phase of the project at Boso in the Asuogyaman Constituency in the Eastern Region to officially enroll new beneficiaries onto the project.
The project brings to bear the role UNILIME Foundation plays in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) specifically but not limited to; “No Hunger, No Poverty, and Decent work and Economic Growth.” We have successfully recruited 15 trainees in partnership with the noble office of the Member of Parliament (MP) of Asuogyaman Constituency.
We therefore appeal to you to support this less privileged individuals to have hope in life and be self -reliant.
Your support will help us train vast number of less privileged individuals who are interest in Vocational, Technical and Technological training.
